Electrification is the most viable way to achieve clean and efficient transportation. One realistic solution for the automotive industry will be all-electric vehicles (EVs) and plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEVs) where electrical energy from power stations with low carbon dioxide emission will be used as a secondary destination. However, the spread of EVs/PHEVs still depends upon the development of a charging infrastructure/technology and high-capacity, low-cost batteries.

The conference Energy Management & Battery Technology for EV/PHEV brings together international experts from OEMs, suppliers and academia in order to exchange experiences in the fields of battery technology and its integration in the electric vehicles energy management for optimal system efficiency.
